At our surgery centers we offer the following surgeries performed by our general surgeons under general or local anesthesia as indicated:
This is a minimally invasive surgery to remove the gallbladder usually when there is a gallstone obstructing the common bile duct. A surgeon can remove your gallbladder if gallstones cause persistent pain or other symptoms, or if there are other complications such as a blocked duct.
There are several types of hernias, and many can be repaired laparoscopically. Some larger hernias require open abdominal surgery. In both cases, usually a mesh is placed to help prevent recurrence.
Also known as hemorrhoid surgery, this is the surgical removal of internal or external hemorrhoids that are extensive or severe.
It is preferable to remove larger sized masses/ lumps or lipomas in a surgery center where bleeding, pain and infection are better controlled than in a clinic setting.
Please contact us for more information or for an evaluation with one of our clinicians to see if you would be a candidate.
